This character 'Elenia' is created for The Rookies Circus Challenge, and has won the Highly Commended Award.
I spent a week to work on the project as there was a time limit for the challenge. Rendered straight out of ZBrush.
Original concept, her name is Elenia, through her I want to show two sides of the Circus: the ideal, fun, exciting side on the stage, and the cruel, harsh side on the backstage. These animals that are trained to perform in the circuses are shown as if they are having a good time, but the truth is that they are often tortured so they can learn how to perform.
